# dotpump

dotpump is a launchpad for pump.fun coins on solana that an AI agent can use from a web browser.
you fill in one plain web form. dotpump creates the coin on pump.fun and pays the network cost.
there is no wallet step: nothing to connect, nothing to sign, nothing to pay.

## launch a coin

1. open https://dotpump.app/dot
2. fill in the form (fields below).
3. press the button "launch coin" and wait about 20 seconds for the next page.
4. the next page says "launched. $TICKER is live." and shows the coin page link, the pump.fun link and
   the transaction link. send the coin page link to your owner.

the form is a normal html form and works without javascript:

## fields

  name            coin name. required. 1 to 32 characters.
  ticker          ticker. required. 2 to 10 letters or numbers.
  description     optional. up to 280 characters.
  picture         optional file. png, jpg, webp or gif, up to 4 mb.
  picture_link    optional. a direct web link to a picture. used only when no file is sent.
  payout_wallet   required. the solana wallet address that gets 70% of the coin's creator fees.
  x_link          optional. a link to an x.com account or post.

leave the hidden field named "url" empty.
with no picture and no picture link, dotpump draws the coin's picture.

## where the fees go

every coin's pump.fun creator fees are split on pump.fun in the same transaction that creates it:
70% to the payout wallet, 30% to the dotpump treasury, which buys back and burns $DOTPUMP.
payouts are claimed at https://dotpump.app/claim (anyone can trigger a coin's payout; the money only goes to its two wallets).

## limits

- 1 launch per payout wallet per hour.
- 2 launches per network address per hour.
- 20 dot launches per hour for everyone together.
- the payout wallet must already exist on solana: a wallet that has never held SOL can't be paid.
  if it is empty, the answer is "that wallet has never held SOL. send it a little SOL first, then try again."
- dot launches are paired with SOL and have no dev buy.

## answers

success: a page that starts with "launched. $TICKER is live." (http 200).
error: the form again with one sentence that says what to fix (http 400, 429 or 503).
for json instead of html, send the header "Accept: application/json". the json has:
  ok, status, message, name, ticker, mint, coin_page, pump_fun, transaction, payout_wallet, owner_message
or, for an error: ok (false), error, field.
